You guys might want to keep an eye out for this game:

http://www.2-worlds.com/

Releasedate is spring 2010. I have the first 2 worlds game .... You could compare it heavy with Oblivion. Version one did have no Multi options, but the game excelled on graphics. Like, when you set the graphics at maximum, trees moving in the wind and such. Unfortunately my system backthen wasnt that good and I had to minimize some graphics.

The first version was plagued by trouble though. The gamemakers were french and the release they had in other european stores were french versions. Most irritating finding the update button ingame (to get the english update downloaded) if you do not know the french language that well. It seriously caused the game to be unknown with alot of RPG players. But the game is awesome and though I never fully played it out myself, it was a great game to play.

I noticed on the website, when looking at the ingame video footage it is in english ... so I think they learned from their horrible mistake and release an english version from start this time. It will surely help their sales.

Here is an example of a screenshot picked randomly from the internet. You might notice this game needs high-end machines.

I think I'll reinstall the first game in some weeks around the hollidays ... to get a feel for the game again before game 2 comes in the stores.

Cool .. check out the little video's .... there is also a teaser.

http://www.twoworlds2.com/en/videos.html

If you browse the menu ... there is also a link to the music they will be using in the game ... it is as epic sounding as in Two-Worlds 1.

According to info on the website they intend to release in Spring-2010 .. So we do not have to wait much longer! And They WILL release it also on PC ...  \o/

To already get in the mood ... I re-installed Two-Worlds 1 ... and started playing it again.

I just played the first game too, but with Dragon Age-Origins on my shelf, it was hard to give it more than a few hours.

In my eyes it also seemd that it was badly programmed, it was much too laggy for a game with those graphics, they were not that awesome.  I play Dragon Age on max graphics with no hazzle, but this one was only playable if I turned down most of the shadows and eyecandy.  If the MMO-version is even heavier, I do not think I want to burn out my graphics card on it.

But that is only me awaiting Cataclysm.  tongue

Well it is a few years old now .. back then the graphics were top notch .... I am sure they cant be worse on the new version.

Back then I had trouble running it too ... but Now .. I have full graphics on and such ... and it looks great. I would say not all is awesome ... it does have some defects ... But I'm sure those will be washed out in the II version.
